Request Access ← Back to Port ElysiumPicture the finished estate: chicken, duck and eggs, premium fish and prawns, leafy greens, herbs and microgreens, vegetables and fruit, all produced on the estate. Port Elysium's own farm turns one of the largest costs in island hospitality, imported food, into a homegrown business that cuts import dependency and transport carbon.
The Bahamas imports most of its food, and shipping it to a Family Island adds freight, duty and spoilage. Port Elysium grows fresh food on the estate and supplies its own restaurants, bars, hotels, food hall and supermarket.
Premium lines such as fish, prawns and herbs are also sold to hotels, restaurants and yacht provisioning across the islands, and local farmers join through offtake agreements and access to the estate's cold chain.
Premium herbs and microgreens grown indoors.
Climate controlled by the estate's seawater cooling.
Recirculating tanks raising premium fish and prawns.
Chicken, duck and eggs for the estate's kitchens.
Every module processes and chills its own produce for the estate's distribution.
Fruit orchards on dedicated land in every module.
The farm is built as a series of modules, each serving a block of the estate's population and deployed as the population reaches each step, so capital follows demand. The Digital Twin projects demand from resident, guest, marina visitor and staff footfall and plans production to match.
Each sector is delivered through a joint venture with an experienced operator with a proven record in tropical or Caribbean climates, selected in the feasibility stage, alongside a university Living Lab for research, teaching and training. Port Elysium provides the land, base buildings, seawater cooling and utility connections, and the route to market.
