The Garden Wellness Sanctuary

The Port Elysium Wellness Precinct is a fully integrated wellness destination bringing together four complementary elements: a Core Wellness Spa (offering therapeutic treatments, hydrotherapy, and mindful movement); a Thermal Wellness Garden Circuit; a Yoga and Movement Pavilion; and a Grooming and Beauty Studio.

Conceived as a low-density indoor-outdoor environment built into the estate's tropical landscape, the spa draws on the design philosophy of leading wellness destinations such as Aman, Six Senses, and SHA Wellness, designed to feel embedded in its natural setting rather than imposed upon it.

The precinct covers approximately 15,000–25,000 square feet of enclosed and semi-enclosed space at full build-out, plus outdoor circuit and garden areas. Set on 1.5–2.5 acres of landscaped grounds.

Spa Programme

Core Wellness Spa

Low-rise, single-storey tropical structure with natural ventilation and indoor-outdoor connections. 10,500–13,500 sq ft incorporating treatment rooms, hydrotherapy, sauna and steam suites, relaxation spaces, and the grooming studio.

Thermal Garden Circuit

A curated outdoor sequence of thermal experiences (heat exposure, cold contrast, and rest phases) integrated into the garden landscape. Following internationally recognised thermal bathing protocols for physiological recovery and restoration.

Yoga & Movement Pavilion

Open-air or semi-open tropical pavilion, separate from the main spa building. 1,200–1,800 sq ft for yoga, Pilates, breathwork, and mindful movement classes in a natural setting.

Wellness Pool

A quiet pool for the exclusive use of spa guests, not a leisure or social swimming pool. Approximately 20m x 6m with hydrotherapy jets, surrounding deck, and shading. Designed for recovery and relaxation.

Spa Café & Juice Bar

Cold-pressed juices, smoothies, herbal teas, light healthy food, and wellness snacks. 400–600 sq ft plus terrace. A complementary amenity supporting the spa experience, not a standalone restaurant.

Beauty, Hair & Grooming

Professional personal care facility: hair styling, barbering, nail treatments, and facial services. Appointment-based, integrated within the spa precinct. Expandable to 6-8 styling stations as the estate population grows.

Serving Four Distinct Markets

Permanent Residents: Access as part of the estate lifestyle offer. Membership-based model providing predictable recurring revenue.

Hospitality Guests: Walk-in and pre-booked treatments (the primary revenue driver in early phases before the residential population matures).

Visiting Wellness Tourists: Day visitors or short-stay guests for spa, yoga, or wellness retreat programming.

Retreat & Recovery Groups: Structured multi-day programmes for private or corporate groups, requiring dedicated scheduling.

At full estate maturity, Port Elysium is anticipated to support approximately 8,000-10,000 residents, guests, and staff. Spa demand is modelled conservatively at 5-10% of the estate population on any given day, implying 400-750 potential daily users.

The captive market available to the wellness precinct is a structural advantage not available to standalone urban or resort spas. On a remote island community, the spa is not competing for visits; it is the only dedicated wellness facility available.

The global wellness economy reached $6.8 trillion in 2024, projected to reach $9.8 trillion by 2029. Wellness tourism is among the fastest-growing segments, with wellness-motivated travellers spending significantly more per trip than conventional visitors.

Note: This facility is scoped exclusively as a lifestyle and holistic wellness spa. Medical longevity treatments, clinical diagnostics, and medically supervised interventions are addressed separately through the Port Elysium Medical Hub.
